Violators are PA Turnpike customers who pass through E-ZPass lanes without an E-ZPass transponder, or could be E-ZPass customers who do not have their E-ZPass transponder properly mounted or account information up to date. If you receive a violation notice in the mail, please read and follow the written instructions on the violation notice. You must appeal or pay the violation within 30 days of receipt. Pay No Toll Now If you obtained a PA Turnpike toll ticket at toll entry and accidentally exited at an E-ZPass lane please retain the toll ticket. You will receive a violations notice in the mail. Please follow the steps to pay only the standard toll and avoid the violation fees. If you do not have a toll ticket or If you wish to dispute an E-ZPass charge, you will need to complete a customer claim report (Form 33-11B). Click here to download a PDF copy of form 33-11B. Violators may be charged a fare based on their point of exit to the farthest point on the Turnpike ticket system and additional administrative fees. Reminder: It is very important for customers to update account information (e.g. license plate number). Account information is available online. If you have an E-ZPass account and have received a violation notice in the mail, you can appeal the violation. Just complete Section C of the accompanying appeal form. Your E-ZPass account will be charged with a V-Toll, or the actual toll depending on the documentation provided.
