Lower Brule, South Dakota

Leonard Leo Lynn Jr., 56, of Scranton, died Wednesday morning at home.

Born in Berwick on Oct. 18, 1952, son of Sally Fenstermacher Lynn Zeiser, Nescopeck, and the late Leonard Leo Lynn Sr., he graduated from Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech and later attended the Academy of Hair Styling, Bloomsburg, and was a hair dresser for a number of years. He also did upholstery work for people in the Berwick area. While attending high school, he helped and lived with his grandparents, Ted and Mae Fenstermacher, on their farm in rural Berwick.

A motorcycle accident in 1988 left him paralyzed and with other physical problems. Living in Scranton, Leo was attending the University of Scranton and was an honor student and was expecting to graduate after one more semester. A broadcaster with the university, he also did drug and alcohol counseling. He was also involved with the Center for Independent Living, Scranton. He concluded his journey in this life. He will be remembered by everyone who knew hime and will be forever in their hearts.

Also surviving are four children, Aaron, Kingston; Jared, Mechanicsburg; Rachel and David, both of Bloomsburg; three grandchildren; a sister, Deborah Potter, Nescopeck; two brothers, Brian Lynn and wife, Kathy, Nescopeck; and David Zeiser, Torrington, Conn.; maternal grandmother, Mae Fenstermacher, Berwick; nieces and nephews.
